We went to the 3rd annual Get Down Town celebration in Lawrence last night. It was a blast. We Cottrells highly recommend going. Admission was free, all of the kid activities were free, there was wicked cool live music [Trombone Shorty rocked by the way] and most importantly - they served beer, margarita's, mojitos, etc. Being able to drink beer [legally] while waiting in line for the moonwalk is killer awesome. This should be allowed anywhere adults have to wait in line with young children. They put those cup holders in strollers for a reason you know!

Drinking a beer while waiting in line with kids would ease your pain a little! Looks like Ceci and Finn had a great time as well! Love the painted pumpkin, Ceci!
