...Waved the Wheat

Wade and I took Cecilia to her first KU football game in Memorial Stadium on October 11. She thought our seats where too high and did not understand why everyone had to yell all of the time. I was bound and determined to explain the game to her, but found that it is much easier to do while watching it on TV. She is a master at the sport when she can see the "yellow line." After some popcorn and a pop, she loosed up and even got the hang of yelling during a 3rd down...



I had a great time sharing my love of KU with my daughter and I will never forget the first time I saw my kid Wave the Wheat...





When she knew it was in the bag, Cecilia decided to rest. It is hard work being a Jayhawk fan.
