...Learned How to Blog

I cannot make up my mind. New Rules - please remember two things when you visit our blog:

1. The look & color of this blog will be in constant flux for at least a month...maybe longer. Right now I've copied the look of "Pig Tail's" blog. She knows who she is. She is my blog master.


2. I am a horrible speller [and do not advise me to read more, because I read all the time!]. I believe my problem is genetic.

I am also learning how to add photos and use these cool frames [thanks Pig Tails], so I'm gonna add a photo taken last July - Ceci was 3, Finn was 6 weeks old...still one of my favorites.

...Put up drywall

Our kitchen visited Dr. 66073 in mid January for a face lift. [she is 82 years old, ya know.] Her skin will no longer be covered in plaster, lath, hideous wall paper or mismatched cabinets. Her surfaces will soon be soft and smooth, glowing in a nice Taupey eggshell finish [I think... color advice gladly accepted]. Dr. 66073 [aka Wade] has given his patient wonderful bedside manner: added new electical, new plumbing, insulation, new archway and my favorite - a pocket door!
For those of you who don't know, the Cottrell Family is living at "Big Granny's" house while the kitchen undergoes surgery. Granny and Gramps flew south for the winter and will return the end of March. Please join me in praying that our kitchen remodel will stay on schedule so that G&G can return to a nice, clean empty house. Check out our progress via our YouTube Channel!

OMG - Finnegan is mobile. No more sitting him down in the middle of the living room while I go brush my teeth. Cecilia's books, blocks and dolls are now fair game. The constant worry that there is something in his mouth [Barbie shoe] has now begun. Be sure to check him out in action on our YouTube Channel!
