Our kitchen visited Dr. 66073 in mid January for a face lift. [she is 82 years old, ya know.] Her skin will no longer be covered in plaster, lath, hideous wall paper or mismatched cabinets. Her surfaces will soon be soft and smooth, glowing in a nice Taupey eggshell finish [I think... color advice gladly accepted]. Dr. 66073 [aka Wade] has given his patient wonderful bedside manner: added new electical, new plumbing, insulation, new archway and my favorite - a pocket door!
For those of you who don't know, the Cottrell Family is living at "Big Granny's" house while the kitchen undergoes surgery. Granny and Gramps flew south for the winter and will return the end of March.
